The Vaal Triangle is located south of the city of Johannesburg, in a part of South Africa know as the Highveld. Towns in the Vaal Triangle include Vanderbijlpark, Vereeniging, Sasolburg, Meyerton, Potschefstroom and Heidelberg, to name a few.
These collective towns and their surroundings act as the industrial hub of South Africa as it is home to various steel and oil-from-coal processing facilities, including Sasol.
The Vaal Dam, where Pretoria, Witwatersrand and the Vaal Triangle draw their water from, is a popular weekend or holiday destination as it provides extensive water recreation activities. Due to the area’s height above sea level (around 1580m) the Vaal Triangle enjoys hot sunny days in the summer and spring (30 – 35 degrees Celsius) and cold to very cold conditions during winter.
The Vaal Triangle offers a wide spectrum of properties including houses, flats, apartments, rentals, town houses, farms, commercial properties and developments. Apart from being located in a scenic part of Gauteng, these properties have the added advantage of being less than an hour’s drive from the O.R Tambo International Airport.
